Kareem Nakoui, who was killed during the ISIS suicide bombing in Afghanistan, had gone back to rescue a child when the bomb went off, according to his mother. Stars and Stripes, a military news site, reported this first, saying: "Kareem, a 2019 Norco High graduate was described as a 'strong person,' who 'held no grudges,' and had 'a love for kids,' Pastor Phil Wozniak said. The fallen Marine's mother told Wozniak that he'd gone back to save a child when the bomb went off." Nikoui's mother, Shana Chappell, has had a difficult time sharing about her son on social media, since she was censored by Instagram, which led to the removal of her account. Following the major backlash that the platform faced, they restored her account, apologized, and said that their algorithms had made a mistake. Chappell is very Conservative in her beliefs. After her story reached Pres. Trump, he shared about Nikoui in a "SAVE AMERICA" statement. Chappell requested that Trump be present at Nikoui's burial, claiming that she would be honored to meet the "real President of the United States." See the statement from Trump below: This comes as the Biden administration continues to crumble amid their failure in Afghanistan, which led to the deaths of Nikoui and 12 other US soldiers. Close to 100 Americans remain stranded in Afghanistan.
