*Editor's Note: This article has been updated to clarify - while Politico, along with the select subcommittee, did claim that Trump rushed doctors into releasing the vaccine too early, they did not directly mention vaccine injuries. On Wednesday, liberal news site Politico published a shocking article blaming Former President Trump for "unproven" COVID-19 vaccinations. For much of the past two years, Politico has been very pro-vaccine. However, as time has gone on and vaccine-related injuries have risen in number, it seems their narrative has changed. The article, by Katherine Ellen Foley, claims that the Trump Administration pressured the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) into releasing the vaccines too early. Foley cited a new statement from the Select Subcommittee, who has also decided to shift blame for the vaccines failures to Trump. The statement, written by House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D) reads: “The Select Subcommittee’s findings that Trump White House officials deliberately and repeatedly sought to bend FDA’s scientific work on coronavirus treatments and vaccines to the White House’s political will are yet another example of how the prior Administration prioritized politics over public health. These assaults on our nation’s public health institutions undermined the nation’s coronavirus response."

Please tell me where in this article Politico or the sub committee state that Trump is somehow responsible for Covid vaccine injuries.
