Tucker Carlson's exclusive interview with Former President Donald Trump has been viewed over 261 million times just days after it was first uploaded to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday evening.
The 46-minute interview saw Carlson, a popular conservative journalist who was fired from Fox News earlier this year, meet with Trump at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Carlson asked the former president questions from a wide variety of topics, ranging from Jefferey Epstein to concerns about the possibility of another civil war.
Also on Wednesday night was the first Republican presidential debate, which Trump skipped for his interview with Carlson. The debate was hosted by Carlson's former employer, Fox News. Many of Carlson's fans boycotted the debate to watch the Trump interview instead.

Earlier this year, Fox News fired Carlson, who was the network's top-rated host at the time, with little explanation. Shortly afterwards, the journalist announced a new show that would be posted exclusively on Twitter. With the recent change in the platform's name, Carlson's show is now titled, "Tucker On X." Through his X uploads, Carlson's viewership has expanded well beyond what he had been seeing during his stint at Fox News. Have comments? Share them below.
