Credit to The Guardian Article by Haddon Lockyer On Sunday morning, the headquarters of Wisconsin Family Action, a pro-life group located in Madison, WI, was lit on fire and vandalized by violent protesters angry over the overturning of Roe V. Wade. No one from the organization was present in the building at the time of the violent attack. According to Madison Police, the attackers threw a Molotov cocktail through one of the building's windows in an attempt to burn the building down. The cocktail, however, failed to ignite, likely saving much of the building. Another fire was set by the building that did successfully burn part of a wall. Graffiti was also spread on the building that read, "If abortions aren't safe then you aren't either." The Madison Police Department announced that they have opened an investigation into the arson, saying that they have also made their "federal partners" aware of the attack. “We have made our federal partners aware of this incident and are working with them and the Madison Fire Department as we investigate this arson.” Photos of the damage are below: The organization's president, Julaine Appling, called the arson "a direct threat against us." Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, a Democrat, took to Twitter to condemn the violent attack, saying: “We condemn violence and hatred in all forms, including the actions at Wisconsin Family Action in Madison last night. We reject violence against any person for disagreeing with another’s view. Violence is not the way forward. Hurting others is never the answer.” The attack came a week after a SCOTUS draft leak revealed that the Court had voted to overturn the ruling in Roe V. Wade, the 1973 court case in which the Supreme Court Justices at the time incorrectly ruled that abortion was a human right. The pro-life movement has been growing nationwide, causing pro-choice Leftists to "melt down," as some would say. Over the past couple of days, protesters have traveled to the homes of the Supreme Court justices to protest, with some even threatening the justices. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to condemn the protests and the doxxing of the justices' home addresses. On Sunday evening, it was reported that Justice Samuel Alito was evacuated from his home amid safety concerns. Have something to say about this article? Comment below!
